Winter White Cosmopolitan

You all know I take my job here at What The Flicka very seriously, don’t you? I mean, when I know I’m going out to dinner at a place that has a cocktail list, I study it ahead of time to decide which one I’m going to try for you all. It’s a sacrifice I am willing to make for you, dear readers. You’re welcome.

This past week I had the pleasure of dining at The Bonefish Grill for a girls’ night out. It wasn’t hard to pick out the cocktail to try that evening – The Winter White Cosmopolitan. It was DELICIOUS and may even be my favorite drink of the winter season so far. I knew I had to share this for the next Hump Day Cocktail and I was thrilled to find that the restaurant made it very easy for me; they were kind enough to publish the recipe on their website for us all to enjoy.

Ingredients:
4 ounces of cranberry vodka
1.5 ounces Cointreau
2 ounces Fresh Lime Juice/Simple Syrup Mixture
4 ounces White Cranberry Juice
6 to 8 cranberries (floating as garnish)

Directions:
Combine the ingredients over ice in a martini shaker. Shake and strain into 2 chilled martini glasses, then garnish with 3 or 4 frozen cranberries, merrily floating at the top of each.

It has been a long time since I have liked a cocktail from a restaurant this much – make your own today or this weekend and leave a message in the comments to tell me what you think of it. Cheers and Happy Hump Day!
