I used to think of parsley as just that green stuff on my plate at a restaurant but it’s so much more than a garnish! Parley contains Calcium, Vitamin C, and Potassium. Parsley helps skin cell reproduction and can help reduce fine lines, scars, and blemishes. This toner is really great for people who have sensitive skin (me) and issues with acne.
For those with acne, this parsley toner can help regulate oil production of the sebaceous (oil) glands and also helps cleanse pores.This toner is very simple to make.
What you’ll need:
2 cup glass measuring cup
1 cup of fresh parsley
1 cup boiling water
1 clean 8 ounce bottle
Add one cup of water to the glass measuring cup and bring to a boil in the microwave. After washing off the parsley, put 1 cup into a small bowl. Pour the boiling water over the parsley in the bowl and let it sit until completely cooled down. Using a cheesecloth or a fine mesh sieve, strain the parsley mixture back into the measuring cup.
Take your 8 ounce bottle and pour the toner into the bottle. Keep refrigerated. This toner will last up to 2 weeks.
