It’s hard to keep up with your child, let alone to stay on top of the latest product recalls. To help you out we put together a list of items that have been recalled this month. Take a look and if you do own one of these products, contact the manufacturer or click on the link for more info. After you’ve had your mini panic attack for owning one of the listed recalls, have a glass of wine or a cookie, or both. You deserve it.
Todson Bicycle Child Carrier Seat: This carrier seat can cause a child’s finger to get severed by getting stuck in the lever. You don’t need to have your child hold this grudge against you when they’re older for possibly not having a finger.
Chariot Carriers – Child Bicylce Trailers and Conversion Kits: This trailer can detach from the bike and make a getaway with your kids. As much as we might like the break from them, this isn’t the type of “getaway” we had in mind.
Bicycle Helemet by Triple Eight Distribution: Product testing demonstrated that these helmets do not comply with CPSC safety standards for impact resistance.
Trampoline by Sportspower – Sold Exclusively at Walmart: We want our children to soar and fly in life, but we don’t need them to soar through the netting on this trampoline and end up on the ground.
ThinkCentre Desktop Lenovo Computer Lenovo M70z and M90z: Sometimes things get a little overheated. You could be lying on a lounge chair by the pool and your water gets warm… You deal. One thing that you don’t want to deal with is your computer overheating, especially if it poses as a fire hazard.
Boys’ Hooded Jacket by Bonded Apparel: We all like drawstrings for those pants that may not fit after a big meal, but when it can potentially choke your child, that we don’t like so much.
Bunny Sippy Cups by Target: These little guys have been known to poke a child in the eye when used. You want your children to have the best vision they can because one day those same eyes will be asking to borrow the car.
Kennedy International Folding Step Stools: These stools have been known to break or collapse when weight is added. So it’s not you, it’s the stool.
Banzai Inflatable Pool Slides: This recall is a serious one. The slide has been known to deflate and can cause neck injury or death (yes, someone died). Don’t slide into injury with this one.
