Recall Alert: September EditionPosted by: What The Flicka on October 2nd, 2012
With the news of the Trader Joes peanut butter recall flooding the web this morning, here is a round-up of some important product recalls for the month of September. To review August’s recalls, click here (better safe than sorry)!
1. Window Blinds by Blinds Express: The cord on this seemingly harmless window covering has recently been found to pose a significant choking hazard for children. It even resulted in the tragic death of a two-year-old. Stay away!
2. H&M Children’s Water Bottles: We didn’t know H&M made children’s water bottles – fancy! These water bottles were recently recalled due to a choking hazard. Sometimes it’s better to stick to basics.
3. Cyclone Swing Seats: These children’s swing seats have been recalled because the plastic seats detach and pose a falling hazard. No bueno. No fun!
We’ll be back next month with a new update on the latest recalls. Keeping each other in the know about these faulty products is important, so if you’ve experienced a dangerous device – recalled or not – share it with us so that we can inform our readers!
