Pumpkin Pie Perfection
Posted by: Lauren Parker-Gill on November 28th, 2012I have a new favorite ingredient: Pumpkin Pie Vodka. As a self-proclaimed pumpkin freak, this was the best invention ever. It is so, so good! When I first got it, there weren’t many recipes out there for it, so I started “researching” on my own. (I love my job.) Here are 2 cocktails I’ve tried and loved:
Pumpkin Pie Frappuccino

Ingredients:
8 ounces of a bottled vanilla frappuccino drink
2 shots (or more) of Pumpkin Pie Vodka
2 cinnamon sticks
Directions:
Split the frappuccino beverage between 2 tumbler glasses and add a shot (or more, to taste) to each. Stir well with a cinnamon stick, use it for garnish and serve.
Applekin Cider

Ingredients:
2 mugs of hot apple cider
2 shots (or more) of Pumpkin Pie Vodka
2 cinnamon sticks
Directions:
Heat the apple cider old fashioned-like, over the stove and pour into 2 mugs. Add the pumpkin pie vodka, stir with a cinnamon stick and keep it for garnish. (Can you tell I love cinnamon sticks?) For some extra fun, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon powder.
Ahhhh. To me, these cocktails equal pumpkin pie perfection. Cheers!
