I have to keep reminding myself that Easter is this Sunday. In fact, I almost forgot to research Easter-y cocktails! That would have been tragic. Especially since we would have missed out on what I now have planned for you all. Are you ready? We are making our own flavor-infused vodka. BOOM.
Ingredients (for vodka):
- 1/4 cup of jelly beans
- 1/2 cup of vodka
- Clean glass jar with lid
Note: For best results, pick your favorite color/flavor jelly bean and only use that one. I chose pink for mine because it’s the best one, obvs. Place your jelly beans in a jar and pour the vodka on top. Let it sit for 48 hours and then carefully strain. It should make about 4 ounces.
Ingredients (for cocktail):
- 3 ounces of jelly bean-infused vodka
- 6 ounces of Champagne
- Marshmallow Peeps (I prefer bunnies) for garnish
Pour vodka over ice, into a martini shaker and add champagne. Gently stir to combine ingredients and then strain into 2 chilled martini glasses. Garnish with a cute little bunny Peep on the side of your glass. Happy Easter!
