I recently had the pleasure of trying Elderflower Liqueur and I loved it. Seriously, why haven’t I tried this before??? It’s light, airy and deliciously floral, but not in an overwhelming way. It actually tastes like spring. Or at least what I imagine spring tastes like, which is exactly what I had in mind for the next Hump Day Cocktail.
– 3 ounces of pear vodka
– 3 ounces of elder flower liqueur
– Edible flower for garnish
Combine the vodka and the liqueur over ice in a martini shaker and shake well. Strain into 2 chilled martini glasses and top with champagne. Garnish with an edible flower of your choosing and drink in the flavors of spring.
