DIY: Rainbow Slime

I did this little project recently with my daughter, the little humingbird. We had so much fun playing with the rainbow slime. I put it on a magnetic board so it wasn’t too messy, and it kept for about 4 days in a Ziplock bag. Have fun!

What you’ll need:
1 1/2 cups Elmer’s Clear Glue
1 1/2 cups of liquid starch (I used STA-FLO)
Food Coloring
Felicity Huffman's What the Flicka? Elle Davis: DIY Rainbow Slime
Pour the glue and the starch into a big bowl and mix together by hand. You can divide up the slime, put it in seperate bowls, and add a few drops of food coloring to make rainbow slime.

Let your little one squish and squeeze the slime and put your feet up for a few minutes. One thing that never gets old for a 3 year-old is pretending to sneeze and have the slime come out of your nose. My daughter played with the slime for nearly an hour. Yay!
