Blueberry Pie Face Mask

My daughter loves blueberries so we always have plenty on hand. One night while I was up, I was craving pie and came up with this blueberry pie face mask. I was gobbling the blueberries as I made this and took a few bites of the face mask.

It’s definitely good enough to eat, and as hard as it may be, try to save some for your face. Blueberries are full of antioxidants and vitamin C. Honey is a natural anti-inflammatory as well as antiseptic. It’s also soothing and hydrating to the skin. And sugar exfoliates dead skin cells, leaving your face refreshed!

¼ cup fresh blueberries

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon granulated sugar

1 teaspoon cornstarch

Wash blueberries and in a small bowl and mash with a fork. Stir in honey, sugar, and cornstarch. Mix well. Use the mask the day of making it. Apply to face with fingertips. Leave on face for 10 minutes and right before rinsing, gently rub the mask into your skin in a circular motion.

Rinse well, use toner, and apply moisturizer.

Tip: Honey is great for dandruff and a lot better smelling than the shampoo for it. You just need to add some honey to the shampoo you’re using to rid your hair of those flakes.
